The Center for Marketing Solutions provides business students with opportunities to apply their marketing education in the real world via consulting assignments. The work I completed with the center was challenging and engaging, and provided valuable exposure to several multi-national companies. Most importantly, these resume-worthy engagements gave me relevant professional experiences that I could speak to during job interviews. I now draw on the lesson's learned at the Darla Moore School of Business in my marketing career.

I  attended the International MBA program at the Darla Moore School of Business with intentions to change careers. The projects organized by the Center for Marketing Solutions allowed me and my peers to apply marketing concepts to real-world business problems while forcing us to refine our creative, analytical and team-building skills. By working with our corporate partners and understanding their needs, we delivered timely results while challenging our abilities as students. On each project, our faculty lead supporting our learning process by challenging our assumptions in developing solutions for our partners. I worked on three projects leading up to graduation. These opportunities gave me the tools I needed to excel in the field of marketing and apply the concepts we learn in class to solve problems for real companies, in real business situations today.
