Jeff Rehling

Jeff Rehling is the director of the Center for Marketing Solutions and a lecturer at the Darla Moore School of Business. Prior to the Moore School, Jeff received his Ph.D from Lehigh University and worked extensively for Crayola as a business development manager. In addition to his work at the Moore School, Jeff is a partner at Edgewood Consulting Group. 

Satish Jayachandran

Satish Jayachandran (Ph.D., Texas A&M University, 1999) is Francis M. Hipp Moore Distinguished Fellow and Professor of Marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business. He serves as the department chair for marketing at the Moore School. He received a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Kerala, India, and a master's in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, India. His research interests are in the area of marketing strategy.  His research has been published or is forthcoming in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Strategic Management Journal.  Satish is a member of the editorial review boards of the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. He has six years of professional experience that includes information technology marketing and advertising

David Crockett

David Crockett is an associate professor of marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business.His primary research interest is in sociological aspects of consumer behavior, particularly the consequences of social inequality. His research investigates the creation, manifestation, and resolution of class, gender and racial inequality in the marketplace, and addresses consumer, managerial and public policy initiatives designed to alleviate inequality. Emerging areas of interest in his research include health-related policy and social enterprise.   He has been published in multiple journals, including The Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Consumer Research. 

Kartik Kalaignanam

Kartik Kalaignanam is an assistant professor of marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business. His research interests are in the areas of new product alliances and customer relationship management.  His teaching interests are in the areas of marketing strategy and new product development. His business experience includes sales and channel management in the consumer durables and sporting goods industries. 

Jeff Miller

Jeff Miller is a consultant to the Darla Moore School of Business as well as a graduate of the Moore School's MBA program.  Offering a unique blend of research/analytical and creative/strategic thinking, he has a proven ability to manage resources and leverage opportunity to maximize ROI. Jeff founded Jeff Miller Consulting post graduation, which provides insights in analytics, marketing and strategy for business, education and non-profits 

Mark Newsome

Mark Newsome brings over 20 years of professional branding and strategic marketing fieldwork to the classroom. Leveraging his experience with various brands and industries, Mark seeks out innovative and diverse learning opportunities that involve real-world clients for the students of the Darla Moore School of Business, preparing them for a professional career in marketing.

Currently Mark teaches MKTG 455 Integrated Marketing Communications, MKTG 707 Brand and Product Policy, MKGT 718 Social/Digital Media Strategies and MKTG 453 Marketing Scholars.  Each class integrates client projects, usually from the Center for Marketing Solutions.  Previous clients include Bayer, Merck, Piggly Wiggly and most recently, ESPN and the launch of the SEC Network.

Mark has previously worked in global advertising as VP and Account Director at Grant/Jacoby before joining Chernoff Newman as SVP and Chief Client Services officer.

Felipe Thomaz

Felipe Thomaz is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He joined the University of South Carolina after receiving his Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh. Felipe also holds a Masters degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida.

Felipe’s research focuses on empirically modeling marketing strategy issues. Currently, this research is leading to the incorporation of social networks into the understanding of brand and firm performance, the behavior of consumers in digital marketplaces and interactive marketing channels, as well as the development of managerial metrics that rely on abundant and timely social media data.

Kealy Carter

Kealy Carter (Ph.D., University of South Carolina 2014) is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. She received a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University in Washington, DC and an international master’s in business administration from the University of South Carolina. Her research interests are in the area of sustainability and marketing strategy. Kealy has six years of work experience in logistics and supply chain industries, including logistics, planning and sales positions at CHEP, a global equipment pooling company, and marketing product management for FedEx.

Abhijit Guha

Abhijit Guha is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Abhijit has a PhD from Duke University and an MBA from INSEAD. He has published (or, has articles forthcoming) at the Journal of Marketing, Management Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Harvard Business Review etc. Prior to academia, Abhijit worked in management consulting (McKinsey and Company) and in banking (HSBC and Barclays Bank).

Brennan Dobbins

Brennan Dobbins is a current International MBA student at the Darla Moore School of Business. He is a graduate assistant for the Moore School's Center for Marketing Solutions, as well as a member of the Consulting Club and Chinese Language Track. Brennan's concentration interests are in marketing and operations efficiency for product management. Prior to the Moore school, he worked in technical sales and marketing in the high-technology industry (Texas Instruments).
