Elizabeth C. Ravlin is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Management on the faculty of the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina . She received her Ph.D. degree in Organizational Behavior from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration, Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Ravlin currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Management and Human Resource Management Review, and has also served on the boards of the Academy of Management Journal and the Academy of Management Review. Her research examines interpersonal processes and team effectiveness, work values and ethics, and status influences in organizations, and has been funded by grants from such organizations as CIBER and the Riegel and Emory Human Resource Research Center. Her publications have appeared in such journals and annuals as Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Research in Organizational Behavior.
Her teaching and consulting are in the areas of team and organizational processes. Dr. Ravlin has served as Research Director of the Riegel and Emory Human Resource Research Center, Director of the Management Organizational Behavior Ph.D. Program, and as Chair of the University Graduate Council.
