Steps for Applying
Admission to an international business cohort program at the Darla Moore School of Business is highly competitive and enrollment is limited. Due to the strenuous academic curriculum at both our partner schools and USC, students selected for the program must have high quantitative skills and a strong academic preparation from high school. Students who have completed or are currently enrolled in a college calculus course through AP/IB/Dual Enrollment course work will be given preference in the admissions process. Competitive students most often present a minimum SAT of 1250 (1600 scale), rSAT of 1310, or ACT of 28. Due to the four-year structure of cohort programs, we cannot accept transfer students or current USC upperclassmen.
The application process for prospective high school students interested in entering an international business cohort program:
1. Apply to USC through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
All university admissions deadlines must be observed for consideration.
2. Complete Moore School Cohort Application available in mid-December
Early deadline with early notification: February 1
Regular deadline with regular notification: March 1
The online application is composed of essay questions on subjects such as your interest in the program, career goals, global/ cultural experiences, language ability, etc. You will be asked to upload a resume and a copy of your high school transcript. Finalists will be invited to participate in a phone interview taking place on February 20/21 for early applicants or March 23/24 for regular applicants.
3. Admission decisions rolling based on date of application and interview
Students are notified via email of their admission decision. Students are encouraged to apply early for full consideration. Due to the limited number of students in each cohort, not all qualified students can be interviewed or admitted.
4. Admitted students will submit an enrollment deposit by May 1 to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
