Additionally, AfterCollege is a great resource for internship and job opportunities for our alumni. Per their website, "AfterCollege is the largest career network for college students and recent graduates." They maintain "an exclusive network of 3,650 partnering academic departments and student groups as well as a proprietary database of faculty and student group contacts at the nation's top universities." AfterCollege has created an Accounting Job Resource Center specifically for our students and alumni. Click on the Accounting Job Resource Center link, create your personal account and begin your search for employment and internship opportunities.

Finally, the Office of Career Management oversees career management and job placement activities for Moore students. Use Handshake to search for hiring opportunities and related activities:

  • Review upcoming corporate information session and career fairs, including the Moore School Business Expo
  • Search for job postings and apply online
  • Sign up for on-campus interviews, the Moore School Business Expo, and Career and Professional Development Seminars

Information for Employers

If you would like for the School of Accounting to make information available to accounting students about a full-time job, part-time job or internship opportunity, please prepare an advertisement (Microsoft Word format) as you would for any employment opportunity and send it to Cynthia Parker (Administrative Assistant, cparker@moore.sc.edu) as an attachment. This announcement will be forwarded to faculty and made available to students on the School of Accounting Web page.

Your job/internship announcement, on company letterhead if possible, should include the following, as applicable:

  • Company Name
  • Address
  • Contact Person (e-mail address and/or phone number)
  • Brief company bio and/or link to your company's webpage
  • Minimum school standing (junior, senior or MACC/graduate students, etc.)
  • Skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Job description
  • Hours per week
  • Work schedule
  • Salary range
  • Preferred method of response for applicants (e-mail, website, etc.)
