Professional MBA - Charlotte

The Darla Moore School of Business opened new Charlotte classrooms in August 2016 at the BB&T Center, 200 S. College St., Suite 110. Market demand for increased enrollment in the Professional MBA program’s Charlotte location was the leading factor in the decision to move from the Charlotte School of Law’s classrooms for the program.

The Professional MBA program, an MBA for working professionals, is a distance-based learning experience combining video conferencing, asynchronous learning and USC Columbia campus residencies. Students take one course each seven week term and that course meets one night per week from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  NC residents pay the same tuition rate as SC residents in the Professional MBA program.

The Charlotte Moore School campus is designed to seat about 34 people in each classroom and has the ability to combine two classrooms for larger groups.  The space is available for rentals.

The Moore School also plans to launch graduate certificate programs in global strategy, international finance and human resources in late 2017.  The certificate programs will be offered there with Moore School faculty teaching face-to-face.  Professional MBA courses are delivered by video conferencing with the faculty teaching from the USC Columbia campus.
