Language Immersion

Every International MBA student selects a language of which begins with introductory language training in the IMBA core. Students then participate in an intensive in-country language immersion to increase their fluency to a level sufficient for business and social conversations.
Two-Year Tracks
Immersion typically lasts from early January until early April. Students will spend approximately four to five hours per day in the classroom advancing their language fluency during their immersion experience.

* 2-year Chinese track requires intermediate level of Mandarin prior to start of IMBA program and final approval from the IMBA admissions committee.
 
Three-Year Tracks 
Immersion typically lasts from late February/early March until the following January (approximately ten months), depending upon holidays in each region. Students will spend approximately four to five hours per day in the classroom advancing their language fluency during their immersion experience.

Housing for Language Tracks: While completing the immersion, students have the choice of housing options that best suits their needs. This can vary depending upon individual tastes, preferences and availability of housing options in a particular region. Most students opt to rent an apartment/flat near their classes.
