Admissions Process

We welcome applications for Fall entry

The Darla Moore School of Business admits new students into the Master of Arts in Economics (MAEcon) program on a rolling basis. Students begin the program in the Fall semester. Admissions decisions are made once all required materials are submitted.  The admissions process involves:

  • Admissions application - You must submit an application and all supporting documents.  
  • Admissions interview - An admissions interview may be requested by the admissions committee.

Once an application is complete, it will be sent to the admissions committee for review.

ADMISSIONS DECISIONS

Admission decisions are made when the application is complete and all supporting documents, including official test scores (GMAT or GRE) are received. All aspects of the application are equally important and are carefully reviewed by the admission committee.

FINANCIAL AWARDS

All applicants are considered for financial awards.  The review process begins February 1, so applicants are encouraged to submit all documents prior to February 1 to receive full consideration for financial awards.  Applications received after February 1 will be considered for financial awards as funds are available.

ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT

Your enrollment deposit is due according to the following criteria:

a) Online admission notification received by March 1 - 
    enrollment deposit due by April 1

b) Online admission notification received after March 1 -  
    enrollment deposit due within 30 days of online admission notification
