Management

The Department of Management focuses on such areas as entrepreneurship, strategic management, human resources, business communication, business ethics, and organizational behavior.

The Department of Management is home to the Riegel & Emory Human Resources Center, Faber Entrepreneurship Center, the Center for Executive Succession and the Center for Business Communication.

For Undergraduates

The department offers majors in human resources and entrepreneurship as well as a broad range of courses in areas ranging from strategic management to business communication.

For Graduate Students

The department offers the Master of Human Resource program as well as doctoral programs in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. We also offer a wide range of both required and elective courses in such areas as entrepreneurship, consulting and organizational development, human resources and strategic management.

Educational Mission Support

To support our educational mission, the management department relies heavily on the FABER Center for Entrepreneurship, the Riegel & Emory Human Resource Center, the Center for Executive Succession and the Center for Business Communication. These centers work to support research activities, promote links between the University of South Carolina and the business community, and build competencies and skills among both undergraduate and graduate students.
