Global Business Experience

From Asia to Africa, and everywhere in between, our students spend a semester immersed in the culture of a region where they work on internship with mulitnational companies.

In the early 1970s, the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina made the bold decision to internationalize its business curriculum. This innovative step spawned what have now become the Moore School’s flagship programs:
  • The world-class International Master of Business Administration (IMBA)
  • The top-ranked undergraduate international business program
  • The premier Faculty Development in International Business (FDIB) program
As the world’s economies continue to intertwine, corporations worldwide are searching for professionals who are multilingual, have knowledge of other cultures, and have experience working in multiple countries. The Moore School is the only business school preparing its graduates to be truly effective in global management because of its unique offerings:
  • International business curriculum
  • Foreign language instruction overseas
  • International internships
Our international business programs have remained unmatched, consistently earning the school top ranking in international business by U.S. News & World Report since its rankings began in 1989.

The Moore School’s combination of internationalized curriculum, overseas language instruction, and global internships enables our graduates to hit the ground running... anywhere they land. No matter where our graduates work—in the United States or abroad—they are able to think and act globally.

Because at the Darla Moore School of Business, the world is our classroom.
