With programs and concentrations at all academic levels, the School of Accounting at the Darla Moore School of Business offers something for everyone.
The School of Accounting offers an undergraduate major in accounting, master's degree programs in Business Measurement & Assurance and Taxation, and a concentration within the Ph.D. program in Business Administration.
We encourage our students to get involved through accounting student organizations: Beta Alpha Psi, the IMA Student Chapter, and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).
The Moore School is also home to the Center for Advancement of Accounting (CAA).
Three interrelated missions of education, scholarship, and service comprise the overall mission of the School of Accounting. The School of Accounting is dedicated to excellence in all three missions. The missions are as follows:
Prepare students to become either (1) successful accounting professionals in a global information society, or (2) Ph.D. qualified accounting academics.
Contribute to the accounting discipline and profession through the discovery, integration, and application of knowledge.
Contribute to the international, national, state, and local academic and professional communities.
